On Saturday, December 4, the last competition of the year awaited all devils and devils, this time at the Řepy Sports Centre in Prague. The traditional pre-Christmas meeting called Ataxon Open - Devil's Cup closes the competition season. Despite a smaller number of participants than usual, and with a few limitations due to the high number of covid cases, the competition could still take place. This autumn has been marked by trips to Ostrava. First at the beginning of October for the Czech Championship of colour bands and now for the national meeting of talented youth. In both cases our home was the athletic hall of Ostravar Arena, which offers plenty of space. Sonkal sent 16 competitors as part of the joint nomination of STM Praha II, who performed very well throughout the competition. The main drivers of our team were Karolína Chmelíková and Jan Veškrna, recent members of the Czech national team. Honza won three individual gold medals and Karolína won one gold and one bronz

The Sonkal Open had its premiere in the new Řepy Sports Centre on Saturday 25th September. However, if it wasn't for Covid, we would have already held the second edition in a beautiful big hall... But let's go in order - the hall is new, big, beautiful and also definitely big :-D The doubling of the word big is right on the spot, because there is plenty of space and automatically the idea came up - let's put all 5 wrestling grounds next to each other. This way is not only great for the management of the competition itself, but also for the competitors and last but not least the spectators

Just few steps from the idea of attending UKTA e-competition to having e-Czech Open, despite of some technical issues all competing videos were not even successfully taken and uploaded to Cyber Arena.
