Třebon´s carp fished out for the third time

Taekwondo tournaments in Třeboň hall has its long history. This time it was third Třeboň Open, international competition. We saw taekwondists from Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and Belarus during last years´ tournaments. This year competitors from Slovakia and Slovenia came, together with Czechs more than 200. Competition itself started at half past eight on Saturday morning. This event differs in few things compared to federation´s competitions, but the most important thing is that one may compete in higher category, so for example juniors in senior category, blue belts between red be

On Friday 25 November we travelled to Třeboň for open tournament. Our team consisted of me (Tereza Žilinská), Kristýna Hudková, Jirka Huml, Monika Junová, Wendy Benediktová, Pavel Šnabl, Matouš Jakubec, František Sakař, Jirka Novák + his father, Adam Reichel, Libor Kubíček, Pavel Zavadil, Tomáš Vodička a Ali Tairov. Korean demonstration and self-defense

This year European Championship in combination with International Martial Arts Games were very interesting events. Official opening ceremony was planned on Friday evening and it was Budoshow format. Last item of show"s schedule was Taekwon-do demonstration of Korea team. They were also participating in Sunday"s Taekwon-do IMG competition. We grab their performanance in self-defense (male and mix).

Numerous part of Czech national team will travel to capital of Estonia - Tallinn, this year´s location of European championship. Four of Sonkal members will also take part in the event.
