We are not bears

Taekwondists do not hibernate like the bears in winter, but train hard. Last year we could have dreamed of winter training, but this year it was a different story. Although the Omikron epidemic was at its peak in the Czech Republic and the list of participants was shortened on the day of departure, it was an extremely successful event.

We divided the training sessions by technical bands and in the lower ones we welcomed a bunch of newcomers who started training a few months ago. Everyone interspersed the workouts as they saw fit - playing board games, reading, walking, or passively gaining strength, with the biggest workload being exploring the inside of the eyelids :-)

Especially for the lower technical grades, the February camp was an excellent preparation for the exams for the higher technical grades. And for the higher ones it was a fine refresher, improved fitness and lots of great people too.

Although at the beginning of each camp it seems like there is a lot of time for everything, it always goes by like water. On Sunday afternoon there was nothing left to do but to pack up quickly, clean our rooms and head back to the Prague.

The next camp is waiting for us in the second half of April and it will be during Easter. Look forward to taekwondo pomlaza and lots of training!
