Talented youth meeting in Brno

During the first weekend in June we took part in Talented Youth Meeting in Brno organized by National Taekwondo ITF Association. This meeting is composed as a competition for talented young taekwondists.

Firstly, the first
competing day was dedicated for pupil males and also females. Thanks to small sports hall it was not able to compete on more than 3 rings in patterns and sparring and 1 ring was for special breaking techniques. What is more, the weather conditions were not well because of scorching weather.

Luckily, having enough battles of water for our competitors, they could survive whole the day. Our talented competitor Ondřej Faltin was very successful in red-belt patterns and sparring. Finally, at the end of the day he was honoured as the best pupil male.

Moreover, Sunday was the day for junior males and females as well. We managed to get more medals the day then the previous day. Jan Veškrna got the golden medal in red-belt patterns and the silver medal in sparring followed by silver medal in special breaking techniques. For example, Alex Mach got golden medal in blue-belt patterns followed by our younger and older junior female Nela Morkovcová and Aneta Zeliková with golden medals in blue-belt patterns. What is more, the last golden medal was given to Karolína Chmelíková in special breaking techniques among younger junior females.


In addition, our younger junior female Aneta Zelinková was honoured as the best of all during the closing ceremony. Finally, our Centre of Talented Youth was announced as the best after the first meeting of talented youth.
