Spain is very good place for Czech national team

On Tuesday, May 1st, the Czech Republic national Team returned from the Spanish Villayojosa, close to Benidorm, where VIIth Junior and XVIth Senior European Championship took place. The Spanish spring Weather was very agreeable and as you can see from the pictures taken by us it was pretty nice in Spain (espec

ially the sea).

The whole championship set into a new modern arena was planned out to three competition days. Although no one of the representation team succeeded in defending their European champion titles from Edinburgh, Scotland, their fellow competitors substituted them very well. It was very drauhgty when talking about medals especially because of our Juniors Petra Tošnarová and Jan Mraček, who thanks to win of two golden medals each received Cups for the most successful Junior competitors. After the of many years´ standing member Míra Michl had left the National team (European and World Champion of Special Breaking Techniques in 1999) we have another European title from this discipline where Jirka Teslík has „jumped out“ his first medal in an individual competition. Unbeatable we were doing in the team competition of Power Breaking in which all of our teams won golden medals! This beared out that equipment of quality and long-term labour would bear fruits. We were also full of hope about our representatives in a new competition of Traditional Sparring. Míra Sýkora and Kamil Vyvial defeat quite easily the Polish competitors in final matches and under standing ovations received premier wins.
