Sonkal Open 2025 this Saturday

The third Saturday in May will again belong to the international competition Sonkal Open at the Řepy Sports Centre. In addition to the traditional technical routines and sport fight, there are also BlazePods and since December Ataxon is also part of the Point Fight for green belts. What's next?

6 competition areas (rings), 300+ competitors from the Czech Republic, Ireland and Slovakia from a total of 25 clubs. Line-ups, sparring and point fighting will offer group competition. Winners of the BlazePods competition can look forward to unusual and beautiful medals.
The best in formations and fights can look forward to original medals with a ‘hole’. Trophies, gift cards from Hayashi and equipment from Ataxon await the most successful competitors!

Ge-Baek Hosinsool (45), Sonkal (35) and Silla (30) schools have entered the largest teams.

And who will you see in the starting field?
For example, there will be Eliška Trčková from Brno, Hubert Skála (Sonkal), European multi-sport champion, senior II. Dana will be ventilated by the current European vice-champion Jiří Faltin (Sonkal), Lukáš Sekera will show how the European champion trains! You can also look forward to a number of participants from the recent European Championships in Tallinn, who are already starting to think about the World Championships. We are delighted to have the Irish team returning to us regularly for what is a lovely change to the traditional training camp in the Czech Republic!
