Second day and half of third

The competition is passing really fast and the second day was very successful for Czech colours. Junior females launched great performance on the ring number one – Anežka Čurdová gained first place in sparring and Petra Jíchová
did the same just a few minutes later on the same ring. In the evening Tereza Štekerová fought out her advancement to the finale and today morning she defeated Korean fighter. After that ring number one belonged to veteran category. Then younger junior female team wanted to begin their fight against the team form Bulgaria. They did not have sufficient number of contestants which meant win by default for Czech team. Thanks to this they advanced to the semi finale where the same thing happened but this time against Korean team. After lunch, Lenka Hrstková is going to fight with other girls against Ukraine team for the gold.

Yesterday was also fighting Jirka Novák. He won the first match with no troubles but the second one was above his skills.

Today is about to launch the contest of special techniques so Jirka Novák can compensate his yesterday loss. I believe that Tereza Štekerévá will repeat same success as at two previous World Championship when she gained two medals – gold from sparring and special techniques.
