Overall female kid champion of Czech republic is again from sonkal

As every year, the most tvalued sport event in Czech taekwon-do is Czech national championship. First part of this competition took place last weekend at Třeboň and is focused on the youngest practicioners of taekwon-do in our country. This weekend second part for junior and senior group will held in Třeboň too. Over 150 competitors
from 17 taekwon-do school from all of Czech republic took part in this championship.
Twelve children from Sonkal Praha (our dojang) started here.

At first, there was competing in patterns. Unfortunately, only our gils were able to
take some medals. Barbora Hemerová was 3rd in g
reeen belt category and Linda Deutchová won the highest (and the most prestigious) cathegory. Bohouš Nesvačil practised really skillfully and nice too, and lose his match very closely, despite of starting on competition like this for the first time.

We saw very absorbing duel between our Linda and Katka Boková from Taekwon-do school Tong-Il České Budějovice in following discipline-special techniques (flying kicks). After all, Linda won second gold medal for our school. Matěj Kropáč passed all 3 techniques in male cathegory and proceeded to final. Unfortunately he took only 2 points for dollyo chagi (turning kick) and finished on 4th place. Our girls took nice 2nd place in team female special techniques (Tong-Il team was first).

The last discipline – sparring (matsogi) we finished with 3 medals. Bronze one: -38 kg weight cathegory, female for Dominika Bardonová. Gold one for our team, but they won without contest (any other school wasn´t able to create female team for sparring) and the 1.place for Linda Deutchová
in +38kg cathegory (3rd Linda´s medal on this competition !!!).

In the end of Czech national championship most succesful school and individuals were declared.
We won 3rd place as school and Linda Deutschová became a Czech national taekwon-do champion for year 2002 so as last year. And of course, with 3 gold medals she won the prize for the most succesful female competitor of championship.
