Nine members of Sonkal are heading to the European Championships

On Monday 28th April a record 9 of our members are heading to the European Championships. This year the championship will be hosted by Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. The competition events start on Wednesday morning and will continue until Sunday afternoon.

And who among our members will be in the fight for European medals? Let's start with the complete newcomers:
- Ivan Romanov, younger junior sparring under 65kg, special techniques, self-defence 1:3 and a member of the team
- Jan Sekera, younger junior pattern I. dan, younger junior sparring up to 55kg, special techniques, self-defense 1:3 and member of the team
- Patrik Švehla, younger junior sparring up to 75kg, self-defense 1:3 and team member
- Lukáš Sekera, older junior pattern II. dan, older junior sparring up to 69kg and member of the team
- Šárka Třísková, adult female sparring up to 62kg and member of the team

And let's go to the already seasoned ones:
- Hubert Skála, adult male pattern I. dan, adult male sparring up to 78 kg,
special techniques and team member
- Jiri Novak, adult pattern IV. dan, adult sparring up to 92 kg,
special techniques, power breaking and team member
- Jiri Faltin, veteran pattern II. dan, veteran sparring up to 80 kg and member of the team
- Jan Dvořáček, veteran pattern IV. dan, veteran sparring up to 78 kg and power breaking

There will be plenty of material as the head of the school Ondrej Vrábel is flying to Tallinn to take photos for the European federation EITF.
