It's not winter, but taekwondo is full

The turn of January and February should be accompanied by winter weather and the proverbial saying goes - February is white, the fields are growing stronger. But the snow took a break and that's why we got stronger during our traditional winter camp. Over 50 participants set off from Černý Most to Zákupy in the afternoon on Thursday 30 January. The first item on the agenda was accommodation followed by dinner. Before the evening training we played with building puzzles, i.e. tatami. This was followed by practice of the lower belts and, with a slight delay, the higher ones. Second dinner, bedtime and several long series of eyelid viewing from the inside.

Friday was all about our traditional regime - breakfast - training - lunch - rest - training - dinner - rest - free training - second dinner and sleep. Of course, even within this strict schedule there was enough time for fun and also the necessary hygiene, so that no one would suspect us of not attending to it :-)

Saturday could be a copycat, but every day is different. Different training, different level of fatigue, etc. Sunday was all about morning training, lunch, packing, cleaning and going home.

Especially for the lower belts, the camp was geared towards the subsequent higher level tests and I am very happy for the great strides our white to green belts made!

We had three taekwondists from the Pardubice club - Radek Kolář (leader), Lucie Kratochvílová and Jáchym Šubrt. Both for our girls and boys their repeated participation was of great benefit.

Winter camp is over and now we have a big Easter party to look forward to. I believe that this time it will be spring like spring :-)
