Gold & bronze medal from Germany

In the days March 3rd and 4th, the Czech national team took part in the, now already traditional, Germany Open (unfortunately one week before the prestigeous Slovenia Open was dropped because of a snow calamity).
The competition was designated for junior and senior competitors, who encountered in separated categories of coloured and black belts in patterns and sparring events. Participation from abroad was really remarkable - teams
from Netherlands, Latvia, Moldova and first of all from Argentina were in fact good adersaries. In contentions joined also two teams from Moravia - Taekwon-do Club Brno and So San Znojmo.
Especially lower colour belts demonstrated technical immaturity and their sparring was not very neat. With the black belts, it has been a "different cup of coffee" and there was really what to see at. The Czech representatives were doing very well, and though some of them compete in Czech republice still as junior competitors here in Germany they didn"t lose face even with experinced senior competitors. Members of our club even this time didn"t come short - first Tomáš Bobek won a bronze medal (he won in addition in the end of the competition a gold medal as one of sparring team) in the most engaged weight category up to 71 kg, in which contended more than 30 competitors. After that followed the golden road of Pepa Huy in the seniors up to 54 kg, in which he managed with both of the inland fighters, even with considerable health problems.
