Both most succesful junoirs female competitors are from Sonkal

On Saturday (26th March) 192 competitors from 13 taekwon-do schools took part in the Bohemia Championship held in Třeboň.

Sonkal sent 25 competitors, who formed 4 teams (female kids, male and female juniors, male seniors). Despite of injuries of

Hoang Huy (wasn´t able to took part in sparring) and Tomáš Bobek (wasn´t able to took part in sparring and special techniques), Sonkal ended as

second most succesful school of the tournament.



Our competitors as usual went well in patterns. In female kids 6.-5.kup Pavla

Dvořáková won her first gold medal,

href="/zavodnik-en.php?id=16">Dominika Bardonová got second (third) place in 4.kup and above.
href="/zavodnik-en.php?id=18">Honza Konár got „only“ bronze medal (male kids 4.-3.kup), but his practicing was great.

More juniors from Sonkal mean more medals – Filip Janků got second place (male juniors

8.-7.kup), Martina Svitaková got silver and Radka

Koldinská third place in same grade cathegory, but female. It was first competition for both of them.

was tasted by Pavel Zavadil (I.Dan and above) and Milan

Fulmek (4.-3.kup). Six seniors from Sonkal started in patterns - Pavel Bareš 3.

place (I. dan and above) and Slávek Vinogradov 3. place (4.-3. kup),

Our male senior team won gold medal, female kids and female juniors got secod places and male juniors third place.

Ivana Hřebačková´s gold medal for her first competition sparring experiences was huge surprise for us (female kids up to

38 kg). Filip Konár passed to the final and defeated by more experienced opponent got silver medal. Silver medal belong to

Martin Hlůže too, he lose final match with Tomáš Celeda (member of national team, got

4 medals from European championship 2003). Lucka Kolmanová won her second gold medal from this competition in female junior B sparring up to 53 kg. Bára Sýkorová won three matches and got 1st place between female juniors A up to 60 kg. Tomáš Bobek has renewed his injury from Košice (European championship) and unfortunately wasn´t able to continue competing. Third places got our seniors – Tran Vu Huy (A, up to 71 kg), Martin Svitek (A, 71kg and above) and Slávek Vinogradov (B, 80 kg and above).

Our female kids team was the only one in competition - 1st place without fighting. Silver medal belongs to male senior team,

defeating Dan-Gun team first and then lose with Tong-il České Budějovice. Female junior team was third.

T-ki (special techniques) are our long-term superb discipline and Bohemia championship had changed to “Sonkal girls

exibition“. Everything started when Dominika Bardonová won her female kids cathegory and then in a team with Iva Hrebačková

and Pavla Dvořaková got also first place. The competition continued with female junior B cathegory where Lucka Kolmanová got

her third gold medal and Martina Bardonová bronze one. We are getting used that Bára Sýkorová (juniors world t-ki champion,

2nd in Kosice) is the constant winner of female junior A cathegory and of course she didn´t fail here. Our 3 girls, named

above, connected in team faultlessly won team competition. 100% succes – 5 gold medals from 5 available.

Male seniors team after all injuries started only in teams and got silver medal, regarding of all wounds and health problems

it´s good achievment.

Bára Sýkorová won her third gold medal in power breaking, Martin Hlůže was third in male juniors A and Lucka Kolmanová

also third in female juniors B.

Team power breaking results: male juniors – third place, female juniors – second place and great 1st place belongs to male

senior team.

During the ending ceremony „Best competitors of championship titles“ were announced. Lucka Kolmanová (female junior B) and

Bára Sýkorová (female junior A) won these titles. „The most succesful taekwon-do school of championship title“ belongs to

Tong-Il České Budějovice, but Sonkal has ended on nice second position.
