Another jurney to the East - Nitra Cup 2013

We travelled again to Nitra, 13 Sonkal competitors - Libor, Ali, Terka and Verča (alias cobra and cobra :oD), Míša, Lenka, Jirka, Herbert and three of us competing for czech national team -Jirka Huml, Jana and Vóďa :o).

We
three travelled from Chodov with rest of national team, stopping in Brno to get moravian part of the team. It was long trip so we spent time playing cards, loosers had to do some funny tasks, so everyone was trying hard. But you know, unlucky in games, lucky in love ;o)

We arrived to Nitra at 5 P.M. meeting rest of Sonkal. I had to do my cards task during weighing - put 20 pieces of clothes on me and put it down during weighing. Everyone loves it.

Morning part of competition was dedicated to patterns. It mostly looked like czech national team training in Dan categories. Also other Sonkal competitors did great, nearly everyone got gold!!!

Sparring matches started after lunch, all national team members fought hard to keep name of our country sound, but I have to mention Jirka "Kulhoš" Kulhánek who fought in two categories going in the same time, he fought great and showed indomitable spirit running from ring and fight to another. He won his category and was second in higher one.

From Sonkal, I enjoyed sparring of Míša Bartů the most as it was one of her first tournament matches in career. Rest of us did also well and overall we were second only after Czech national team.

The most succesful juniors were ours Terka Žilinská and Jirka Huml, seniors were national team members Jan Chaloupka and Martina Kopecká.
