270 competitors on Czech republic championship

From November, 3 to November, 5, the Junior and Senior Czech Republic championship took place in Třeboň. In the championship, more than 270 competitors from 19 Czech clubs participated. Hon
orary guests from Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, representatives of sponsors and presentatives of the city Třeboň attended the competitions. All of the participants during the two competition days were flaunting performances worthy of real Czech Republic champions. Sunday afternoon was under the sign of final jousts in all of the four Taekwon-Do disciplines, but first, the spectators in the arena could had seen a short demonstration of exhibition that was beeing prepared. And aftewards, the Pattern final matches followed that have again confirmed the Czech Taekwon-Do belonging to the best throughout the world. Next were comming Sparring, Special techniques and Power Breaking. Our club had been covered by six competitors who did represent us very well. First the Junior team won the silver in Pattern and then, wins in individual competitions came after. Slávek Vinogradov won his already fourth golden medal in this year, category Pattern, 8th to 7th kup. Tran Vu Huy carried of 2nd place from Junior Sparring category up to 52 kg. The most successful member of our campaign became Tomáš Bobek. First he won 3rd place in Sparring category up to 70 kg, then 2nd place in Pattern category 2nd to 1st kup. Then he crowned everything in his perfect competition of Special technique (T-ki)with 1st place ! Tomáš showed that a Taekwondist needs to be genuinely wide-ranging. In order to demonstrate the Special techniques (T-ki) „we know backwards“ in our club, did our Junior team win the golden medal in a straight way in category Team - Special techniques. After the final matches, an exhibition came after that introduced all segments of our martial art. It was to see a team pattern as in performance of Junior Czech Republic National team members, Sparring, Self-defending, Power Breaking and Special techniques, too, in what our Huy showed up his excellent jumping up when jumping over 5 people and breaking the board. When the exhibition was over, then just a presentation ceremony for the Junior Czech Republic champions in the year 2000 followed.
