15.12.2004 / II. Prague's regional competition

10 golden medales with 15 competitors

On Saturday 11 December 2004 , we took part in second round of local Prague competition organized by tkd school Ge-baek Hosin sool. 122 competitors (15 from Sonkal) from 9 tkd schools met here. As school we took second place in Prague (10 gold medals). The most succesful male kid competitor was our Honza Konár. If we count places together with first round, we finished 3rd, but this fact cannot waste our happiness, for example bacause Honza Konár was also the most succesful competitor in male kids category in whole Prague , the best male junior A was Píďa Zavadil.

But who succeded?? You think that only us, who took part in this event? Definitely no! This success is
result of trainers´, competitors´ and non-competitors´ , both black and white belts´ endeavour. Said in other words,it is work of everyone who have motivation and are doing their best to improve (that is well known fact, but it is worth to repeat it once in a while :o)

Something about how competition itself went. It took part only 4 days after our grading, so few of us fight in a ring for the first time or were suprisingly staring (for example I was :o) on judges who want strange things like twimyo tora yopchagi. But it was nice change in pretty slowly running competition. Someone said that we spent 10 hours in tobok. On the other hand, refreshment was for free and there were really enough (ven for Mila) . You cannot want more for 100 crowns starting fee, can you? Some remarkable experience for example. One of that kind Iva Hřebačková lived through in change room. Ask her, if you want to know more.

Finally you can check results´ list, but basically it is only few boring numbers. It doesn´t excite me much, but maybe that you will enjoy it. Results of our competitors are in successes.

The most succesful schools of Prague region for 2004 were:

1. Ge-baek Hosin sool (27 gold medals)

2. Hwa-rang (24 gold medals)

3. Sonkal (22 gold medals)
