CYT competition in Ostrava

Second round of national CYT competition took place in Ostrava on 19th and 20th of October. Both training and competition were held in Bonver Arena. This sports hall looked almost like a ruin from the outside, but in the inside it met all requirements needed for TKD competition. On the other hand, we were accommodated in 4* hotel Park Inn.
Saturday's training led by CTY was aimed for fake hits and other stuff that look good on exhibitions. 150 participants enjoyed it very well. After this training there was another one for instructors and assistants and its theme was padding. This training was led by trainers of Czech National Representation Team - Jan Mraček and Jan Klaška. Both "Johns" gave us their practical experience from trainings and also from World and Europe championships. Many instructors found some interesting cues for their own trainings.

Sunday morning started at 8.30 in sports hall with line-up of all competitors. During the line-up all of us congratulated our GM Hwang for his Professor degree he received at Pyongyang University. Then the competition started - self-defence, individual and team patterns, sparring, special techniques and also power breaking.

At the end Míša Bártů was awarded as most successful female kid and also our Centre was aworded as a winner of both second round of CYT competition and also for all year 2013.
