Fast lunch, short nap on mat and fortunately more people came - there were 13 of us. Back to karma...I invited pretty lot of people from other gyms, most of them refused, but it looked like 5 would come, but one of them had to go to school (it is truth ...on Saturday), second destroyed his leg just day before training, third dislocated his elbow, fourth had to stay in work because „it was still wet“ and ….fifth one came :o) I am not the one to rate quality of training, because I led it, but I have to really appreciate intensity everyone practiced with, even though it was one of harder ones.
Benefit was not only from fighting our guest, but it was also another opportunity for our students from two dojangs to compare and teach from each other. Nice surprise was our new student, red belt who trained in Mongolia, very Asian style (fast, sharp, and hard to read, but fortunately weight disadvantage :o) . Everyone was surprised and had to thing about their approach to sparring (and that´s what was this training about).
Unfortunately we lost axis of one nose (shame...it is a nice rhyme in Czech), boys fought as always, no unnecessary aggressiveness, just an accident and my bad karma. Fortunately end of our visit of ear-nose-throat ambulance was blessed with laughter (why? Check photos). And Pavel Šnábl (injured hero) took part in training camp next week and got some medals (no sparring of course) two week after during National championship, what a character, I have to say.
I hope that these events will continue to exist, more guests will come and in future more trainers will participate leading it. I think it is good way to compare, improve and make our friendship deeper (not only because voluntary beer session after trainings ;o)
Hail good practice.
