Taekwon-do demonstration by Sonkal students

On June, 30 students of our club participated in an amusement afternoon at the Centrum Černý Most. This event had been viewed as entry to the Summer holidays this year. The Sonkal students demonstrated all of the Taekwon-Do elements except self-defending for what the surface conditions weren´t suitable. In the course of the afternoon, in four fifteen minutes long demonstrations we showed up technical patterns (techniques of hands and legs), sparring, special techniques, and power breaking, too. Because of time-trouble, the biggest attraction jumping over the Škoda Felicia roof was demonstrated already in the first of the demonstrations (of course, we took a picture :-)). The spectators learned also at the demonstrations many acompanying information about both the Taekwon-Do history and success of our competitors and of the Czech national team. This event was presented in a very interesting way by the radio Zlatá Praha moderator, Roman Slavík. We would to say thanks to him for presentation of our martial art.
