Second regional Prague competition took place in ZS Campanus, where taekwondo school Hosinsool has its regular trainings. 73 competitors from taekwondo schools Dan-Gun, Hwa-Rang, Silla, Hosin Sool and Sonkal took part in this event.


Sonkal got lot of gold medals in patterns, not only because of high number of our competitors, but because our skills. Category male kids 6.-5.kup won Lukáš Topol
and in 4.kup and above Jan Konár practiced well as we expected (next gold medal for Sonkal).
Kids female 6.kup and above totally ruled Sonkal girls (all medals for Sonkal). In final, as for many times before, fought Dominika Bardonová against Ivana Hřebačková – this time after hard decision won Dominika. In male juniors 4.-3.kup got gold Milan Fulmek and in 2.kup and above won Pavel Zavadil. In category 8.-7.kup (female juniors) got into final, as always, Radka Koldinská and Martina Svitáková – this time gold for Radka. In category female juniors 4.-.3.kup won Lucka Kolmanová, defeating Martina Bardonová in final.
Hard fight was seen in final female juniors 2.kup and above, where two national team members Aneta Merksbauerová (Hwa-rang Prague) and Barbora Sýkorová went through few draws, but finally Aneta got the most appreciated medal. In senior category I.Dan and above two highest ranks got our trainer Pavel Bareš (second degree) and Hoang Quang Huy (first degree).
In sparring female kids Ivana Hřebačková defeated Dominika Bardonová – what a revenge :o)
In male juniors B up to 63 kg Legner brothers got second and third place , in A up to 63 kg Pavel Zavadil got nice second place after really interesting duel. In female juniors B, where was only one weight category got gold Lucie Kolmanová. Very nice duel showed us Barbora Sýkorová and Ilona Hambergerová (both are national team members), after hard tough fight won Barbora. Next gold medal got Dominika Bardonová in special techniques, second was Ivana Hřebačková. Pavel Zavadil got third place in male juniors special techniques, however
gold medal got Daniel Seidl from Hosinsool taekwondo school (he is only 7.kup holder, defeating two black belts!!!!). Female juniors category even completely ruled Sonkal (2nd place Lucie Kolmanová, 3rd place Barbora Sýkorová and Martina Bardonová), but gold medal belongs to Ilona Hambergerová from Hwa-rang Prague. First place in seniors got Hoang Huy, as we expected.

In female juniors power breaking got gold Barbora Sýkorová, who broke all boards in every technique without any problems, second place belongs to Lucka Kolmanová.

Sonkal took The most successful taekwondo school of competition title and also got titles for the most successful competitors (female juniors A – Barbora Sýkorová, female juniors B – Lucka Kolmanová, male seniors A – Hoang Huy, male kids - Jan Konár and female kids – Dominika Bardonová).
Hosinsool tkd school got second place , then were Dan-gun, Hwa-rang and Silla.
