World Championship is behind us but we still need to finish our photos in a few following days. Today you can see pictures of Saturday competition, so do it. Czech colours were successful again and those of Sonkal school were not just visible but even audible thanks to many precious metals.
First of all, Jirka Novák shot-out the battle about gold which took place after a lunch and it turned out as gold for Jirka. That meant some compensation for his starts in patterns and sparring contests that were medal less. But contest of special techniques he won the shoot-out and fought out first place and the title of World Champion.

Simultaneously with him Tereza Štekerová also launched her battle for medals. As luck would have it she managed 100% of all five special techniques and after following shoot-out she took second place

Both of them after a while started competing with their colleagues from their junior teams. There they really helped to gain golden medal of junior females and silver one for junior males.

The end of the competition program was slightly ceremonial. The organisers planned four final matches of sparring for the finish. The first one belonged to younger Czech junior females against Ukraine team. Lenka Hrsková was the last fighter at this match. But this championship was the first big tournament for her and her opponent from Ukraine seemed to be much more experienced and she had great superiority in weight.

Herbert Kindl and his friends introduced themselves in the afternoon part which was about self-defence. Unfortunately the competition in this contest was so high that performance of our boys was not sufficient to gain any medal.

Tomorrow morning we are moving to the airport and after 4 o´clock p.m. we are going to land at the airport in Prague.
