Neither rain nor snow (and wind) could stop Sonkal!

"Finally spring and hot weather and finally spring training camp" was running through my head walking to our gym to help pack equipment on Thursday morning.
First possitive thing - we do not bring tatami, so less work and less cleaning. It took about 30 minutes so we left to Zákupy and was there in about hour and half. Our stay started with traditionally tasty lunch and then went for a walk (Zákupy village is pretty nice).
First traning was easy, focused on fundamental movements, patterns and kicks. We also spent some time with theory - this time history of Sonkal dojang. Evening training had also technical content.

Friday - last hot day. Morning training with lot of stretching and grading preparation. In the afternoon lot of games and more kicking. We were training individually but hard in the evening keeping in minds that pregrading will be next day. We also did some self-defence.

Saturday - everyone fell that it will be hard today, because Svíťa (Martin Svitek) arrived. Weather also got hard - it started to snow! Unknown Šimon with white belt came with Svíťa and approved himself as sparring killer. Morning traning was filled with self-defence and afternoon was dedicated to sport sparring. One great surprise - for the first time in my taekwondo practice I had opportunity to fight with Ondra Vrábel (our instructor) - what was really worthy experience. Evening training was composed of destructing strenghtening exercises led by Svíťa and some yoga-like stretching. Day hard enough to fall asleep really quickly.

Sunday - everyone was thinking about pre-grading. Vláďa Švanda arrived, full of energy, ready to kill us with his training ....and afternoon one was even harder.
Pregrading was scheduled between lunch and afternoon training. Our teachers started from highest ranks. It was really hard day - training, lunch, pregrading, training (REALLY hard one - as always when they bring notebook with music and timer and kicking pads) and evening training dedicated to self-defence. Sleep was fast and deep.

Easter Monday - we creeped from our rooms to find girls´ rooms locked. But we managed to "beat" them a bit after all :o) And in the afternoon there were their strike back - they used plenty of water tu punish us.
Ondra gave us some sweets and we went for last training.

We all had lot of fun and leaving to Prague was not easy despite of really sore muscles.

Thank you all for wonderfully spent time.
