9.9.2016 / 12th junior & 7th veteran World Championship

First day of competition

Czech representatives of Taekwon-Do ITF passed the first day competition successfully. The morning was heavy rainy so everybody was inside the hall and due to this the mood in the hall was stormy too.
Among second degrees of black belt Jiří Novák easily overcame his first opponent but at the second round he encountered the winner of whole category – Korean competitor. Although Jiří showed extraordinary pattern it wasn´t enough.

Jiří Novák and Tereza Štekerová were also parts of junior male and female team and they won bronze medals in this category. The female team lost to Russian team and boys were defeated by flawless Korean team. Even though, we have to praise both of these teams for their performances.

Right before evening started the competition of sparring. But nobody form our school took part there. That´s going to happen today – Tereza, Jiří and Lenka. Fingers crossed.
