In juniors patterns Monika Junová did great (and was praised by friends and trainer) and got gold medal. Saša and Kristýna did their second final in which Kristýna was just slightly better and got gold medal.
Finally Kristýna Štěpánková competed in senior patterns and got nice 3rd place. Monika tried how it goes in higher (senior) category and did great again – 1st place.
Sparring was on schedule then. Saša and Kristýna were slightly nervous, but after all both of them fought well and got 3rd places. Saša surprised with good sparring skills.
Monika was eager about her fights and got 1st place in +55kg category. Kristýna and Saša tried also junior sparring. Saša got second place and did great in final match. Kristýna also got through to final, where she fought with Monika and lost after hard fight. Monika got plushy cow as present for her 1st place.
Kristýna Štěpánková (very slim girl – translator ;) had to fought in +60kg because unification of weight categories. She got 2nd place and Monika got 3rd.
All of us enjoyed the competition. Moreover we learnt how to hang Sonkal banner and with Saša´s experiences and skills in knot making we were also able to put it down and bring back to Černý Most.
