As the top of the Taekwon-Do season in the Spring part were undoubtly the Czech and the Moravian kids and juniors championships that took place on Sunday, May 20, in the sports hall in Třeboň. 213 competitors from 17 clubs throughout the Bohemia and Moravia participated in all, and 138 competitors from Bohemia. After very good results in previous events (Kerberos Cup or CYT competition), our contestants acquited themselves excellent even this time.
Already traditionally were our competitors doing well in patterns (Tul). Gold
medals won Dominika Bardonová, Filip Konár (both in kid category 6th to 5th kup), Slávek Vinogradov (junior category 6th to 5th kup), Pavel Zavadil and Linda Deutschová (they both won their discipline already in the fourth championship in succession !!!). A silver medal added Vašek Sedlmajer and bronze medals Anežka Rytinová, Ondra Skýva and Jakub Žilinský.

Next came sparring matches in what our kids and juniors were doing very well - Tomáš Bobek, Hoang Quang Pepa Huy and Linda Deutschová (1st positions) and Nguyen Hai Ha, Michal Růžička, Vuong Duong Minh, and Pavel Zavadil (2nd positions), closing is Milan Fulmek with the bronze medal in sparring. In the competition of power breaking (wirok), it was Slávek Vinogradov to make us very happy about his superb second position in the group B (yellow to blue and red belts), and the second position won also our junior team. As the last in the list but not with amount of won medals it´s special techniques (T-ki) competition remaining. First our kids won twice third positions - Filip Konár and Linda Deutschová, the Kid Women team jumped out the bronze medal and the kid team the silver. Afterwards came our junior squadron of death - Slávek Vinogradov won the gold in group B, Tomáš Bobek as usually the gold in group A and for good measure also the gold as member of the junior team made up complete with Pepa Huy.

At this championship, the Sonkal club won 12 gold, 8 silver and 8 bronze pieces of metals in all, in the final clubs standings we were placed second, which is excellent. If we take into consideration that our team for the present doesn´t have any Junior woman contestant it didn´t do wrong at all.
